Japan Tobacco International (JTI) is an international tobacco company based in Switzerland. Akna LLC was a subcontractor responsible for the development of an IoT platform.

• Development of an IoT platform for several million consumer devices. IoT platform scales across multiple countries and is designed for multiple brands.
• Management of devices with secure provisioning process. Real-time processing of transmitted telemetry data. High flow rat IaC automation and event streaming.
• Support for Bluetooth-connected IoT devices via a mobile application gateway.

Japan Tobacco International

Akna LLC served as a key subcontractor, providing Technical Leadership and Backend Development expertise for an innovative project aimed at enhancing vehicle safety. Utilizing smartphone sensors, the solution detects car accidents and automatically notifies the Mercedes-Benz team in the event of vehicle damage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Development of an automated system for accident detection, including automatic notifications, push messages, and service hotline calls.
• Implementation of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for scalable deployment across multiple countries, including China and Germany.
• Management of system resources, log levels, security measures, and GDPR compliance, alongside preparation for penetration testing.
This project underscores our commitment to cutting-edge innovation in the automotive industry.

Odin 4.0 combines machine learning, engineering expertise and financial risk management to increase asset life and to reduce machinery breakdown cost.

Our experts have been working on reviewing architecture for Tameed financial platform, which is a Debt Crowd Lending Platform from the UAE that offers shariah-compliant financing for local SMEs for their government purchase orders by pooling individual investors who are looking for investment opportunities.

• Conducting thorough architecture and code reviews for backend (.NET), mobile (React Native), and web (Angular) applications.
